Ikuti dan simak baik-baik cara membuka/menjalankan game simulasi kereta api berikut ini:
- Setelah selesai didownload, Extract filenya dengan cara klik kanan 'Extract Here'
- Extract file openBVE Indonesia ke Drive C:/Program Files/
- Buka folder Rangkaian, ada 5 (lima) jenis rangkaian kereta dalam kemasan winrar, extract ke-5 file tersebut ke folder Train dengan cara diblock lalu klik kanan dan pilih 'Extract Files..' cari Drive C:/Program Files/openBVE Indonesia/Train
- Buka folder Rute, klik kanan pada Rute Indonesia lalu pilih 'Extract Files..' ke Drive C:/Program Files/openBVE Indonesia.
- Selesai
- Untuk menjalankan game, langsung aja meluncur ke tempat game di Extract tadi yaitu di Drive C:/Program Files/openBVE Indonesia/lalu klik OpenBve (Application)

Sebelum Kereta dimainkan, masukkan dulu kontrol key nya ke dalam openBVE agar keyboard berfungsi, caranya:
- Pada menu openBVE, klik 'Pengaturan Kontrol'(Customize Controls)

- Cari folder openBVE Indonesia lalu cari folder Controls dan klik Kontrol Untuk openBVE Indonesia.controls klik open
- lalu klik Masukkan lalu pilih Keyboard, setelah itu pilih Mulai Berdinas (Start new game),lihat gambar;
- Silahkan pilih Rute dan Rangkaian kereta
- Coba test apakah keyboard sudah berfungsi, tekan Spasi untuk membunyikan klakson, kalau sudah bunyi berarti kontrol keyboard sudah berfungsi.
- tekan huruf M, otomatis kereta akan mulai bergerak maju perlahan-lahan, selanjutnya sobat bisa mencoba fungsi kontrol keyboard yang lain.
