Baldur's Gate Tales Of The Sword Coast Iso Download

Baldur's Gate Trilogy is a modification originally created by Bardez that aimed to achieve two major goals: to play Baldur's Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast expansion using the much improved Baldur's Gate II engine, and to generate some kind of continuity between the events of Baldur's Gate, Tales of the Sword Coast, Shadows of Amn, and Throne of Bhaal. Baldur's Gate Trilogy-WeiDU takes this a step further by converting the modification to WeiDU format, which has improved compatibility with other modifications. Baldurs Gate 2 Shadows of Amn Free Download for PC is a computer role-playing game developed by BioWare and published by Black Isle Studios. Appearance and alignment.[6] Alternatively, an existing character from Baldur's Gate or Tales of the Sword Coast can be imported.[3][7] Once in the game world, the player may recruit certain non-player.

While BGT-WeiDU remains mostly faithful to the original Baldur's Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast, a number of new features have been introduced to satisfy the above goals.

Gate

Baldur's Gate using the Baldur's Gate II engine: BGT-WeiDU is a modification installed on Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal. Therefore, the story of Baldur's Gate can be experienced with the updated graphics, better resolution, and interface improvements present in Baldur's Gate II.

Bug fixes: BGT-WeiDU includes an internal fixpack that addresses a significant number of bugs that remained in Baldur's Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast. A technical list of fixes can be found in the installation package. The walking dead saison 3 vostfr download torrent.

Continuity from Baldur's Gate into Shadows of Amn: BGT-WeiDU uses a dynamic system to transfer players from the end of Baldur's Gate to Shadows of Amn. A cover story is used, in which the player talks to Belt after Sarevok is defeated, and NPCs are conditionally imported into Shadows of Amn depending on what fate you led them to experience in Baldur's Gate.

Baldur

Expansive compatibility with other modifications: BGT-WeiDU is compatible with the latest versions of modifications in a mega-modification installation, as well as a large number of other fan-made modifications. This allows the player to expand the world of Baldur's Gate to an enormously rich location to explore. A compatibility list is available in the installation package.

Organised journal entries: BGT-WeiDU utilises a full quest journal system and ensures that all Baldur's Gate journal entries are removed prior to the transition to Shadows of Amn. This prevents clogging up of the journal, which normally makes it hard to find important information in the journal.

Sword

Map Notes: The advent of map notes makes it useful for the player to pin their own special locations. BGT-WeiDU comes with a number of map notes already inserted to help the player find particular buildings quickly, instead of running around like crazed chickens into every single house in a particular area.

Some stuff that might be useful to add:
    Will there be new content?
-Yes, there will be two new adventures, one connected to the Bhaalspawn story and the other, a standalone experience.
Will there be any new classes or kits?
-Yes there will be a completely new kit, never before seen in a Baldur's Gate game.
Will there be any new NPCs and will current NPCs be developed/expanded?
-There will one new joinable NPC. Existing NPCs will not be expanded.
Will mods still be compatible with BG:EE?
    -For the most part, yes.
I'm pretty sure most of that is correct, I apologise if it's not, but these seem to be fairly significant questions.

  • What about savegames compatibility? Can I use my old saves from BG in BGEE?
    - Existing saves will likely not be compatible at ship.

We will add these in with the next FAQ update. Thanks!

  • Could we sticky this thread to the top of the board?

  • Will mods be able to run on the iPad version? (Sorry if this has been asked before!)

  • Q. Is it possible to import character (*.CHA) from original games to BGEE & BG2EE ?

  • @Anton: This will be answered in an upcoming FAQ update. Thanks for the input!

@DanBoulos , I think this thread should be on top as an 'announcment'
and maybe even update it a little, because there are questions that asked frequently ( aka FAQ ) such as if BGEE will include new races. animations. classes. monsters ( you already confirmed that there gonna be goblins, why not to update? ).
let the thread do its job!!

  • @mch202 definitely agree, this should at least be stickied to the top of the board as an announcement.

  • Would it be better if we asked to have it 'pinned?'

  • I know this must be a stupid question but, it reads on wikipedia that you guys are making a sequel possibly of bg but also of planescape torment as well. If this is true, i prally shouldnt ask now, but is it possible that if the sales of this go well we will see a possible future series in the same universe/infinity engine?

As for the infinity engine, If I recall correctly they have mentioned that a new game will be using a new engine

  • @DKnight The team has plans for making a BG3 in the long run, which would use the current D&D ruleset (whatever it is when the game is developed) and will most likely be set in the current D&D timeline (over 100 years after BG2). This is after all the enhancements they have planned, which officially is only BG:EE which is being released in 2 months or so and BG2:EE which is being released in 2013. They have mentioned the possibility of enhancing the Icewind Dale games and PS:T, but they don't have anything official set up for this yet.

So they will use an enhanced version of the infinity engine?

  • Is there a process for applying to become a beta tester? I'm an iOS software engineer and a huge fan of BG and BG2. I'd like to help, but aside from a few random posts (where others are asking about beta testing or mentioning it in passing) I can't seem to find any info about this.

this is what I could dig up from older discussions:

I hope it answer your questions.. its still a long way down the road.

  • Please, pretty please. I hope this will not be like NeverwinterNights - I dont like this 3D design made for NWN and NWN2. I am still convinced that old BG2 design is better.
If you do 3D - please do a lock on standard isometric view.

Definitely did, but who says we can't continue the story? There are different ways to go at this. either the start of your new life as a god, or continueing your story as a mortal.. or considering most romances ends up in giving a kid, perhaps it could be about your son.. Maybe your son could be conceived before the bhaal essence was taken out of you, and he still retains a small, minuscule essence. So small it can't ever do anything to revive bhaal. but it could be of use to some evil antagonist?
