To install the .crx chrome extension, follow these steps.
Go to the Local Disk C:> Program Files>Internet Download Manager folder & there you’ll see the IDMGCExt.crx. (Remember the directory will be different if you’re using any other windows)
So find that .crx file & if you don’t have that on your computer then download it from here: click here
Now go to the chrome extensions.
Hold & Drag that .crx file to the chrome extensions & install the file over there. Once the file is installed, you’ll be seeing this icon on your chrome browser.
Now, whenever you go to any videos sharing platforms such as Youtube, Dailymotion, Tune.pk or Vimeo, you’ll be seeing the downloading bar over each video which you can use to download those videos to your Computer/Pc for free.

#1 Open IDM & click on Options.
#2 In the general tab, enable all browsers as well as enable “Use Advanced browser Integration”.
